Meet Maxwell Chambers
Miramar City Commissioner, Seat 1
Maxwell “Max” Chambers has been a resident of the beautiful city of Miramar since 2008 and a long term resident of Broward County. Max came to the United States at the age of 18 and is a custom cabinet maker by trade. He is a hard working father of 5 who is an active participant on the PTA. He volunteers every morning at his youngest daughter’s school and is very interested in continuing the forward progress in Miramar.
Max is a life long Democrat and believes in working across party lines for the greater good of the residents of Miramar. He is a community activist who has fought against red light cameras, and supported non for-profits that assist women and children in need, such as the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center and the Children’s Harbor. He believes that volunteerism makes a difference. Max is a board member of Children’s Connection Inc. and Friends and Family Connection. Max has also served the city of Miramar as a City Commissioner since 2014.
